MESSAGE FROM TODD
Today is a special day! Just hours ago, my wife Melanie delivered our brand-new little baby girl that we have so anxiously been awaiting. McKenna Christine Durkin was born at 9:45am PST and weighed in at 8 lbs, 8 oz. and was 18.5" Long. We are just so excited to share the news of our little girl. Big brothers Luke (5) and Brady (almost 3) are so excited for the little sister they always wanted. She now has 2 "personal protectors" at all times for ever and ever.

Man, I have been proud of a lot of things in my life. But there is nothing like seeing one of your children born and the feeling of a precious little life that you welcome into your world. My new little girl is so beautiful and dainty. I have fallen in love all over again.

 
By the way, notice the date she was born: March 10th.

- Luke's Birthday is on the 10th of December
- Melanie's Birthday is on the 10th of June
- The "10" goes on and on: 10 people in my
immediate family, my football number was 10, the numbers in the FQ 10 phone # add up to "10" (271[10]-1171[10])

She's going to fit right in-- a perfect 10!!!

CLIENT SPOTLIGHT
Peter Wulff
Mr. Wulff has been coming to Fitness Quest 10 since October of 2006. A diagnosis of "Severe Spinal Stenosis" is what originally brought him our way. At the time, Peter had doctors pushing for surgery, which he wanted no part of. After training diligently with FQ 10 Coaches
Cara Regas & Ryan Burgess and bodywork with massage therapist Linn Holland over the past year and a half, his spinal stenosis is now officially classified as "moderate", and he's definitely on the road to "minimal".

An avid outdoorsmen, Peter loves spending time in the mountains, whether it be hiking, skiing, or just enjoying mother nature. He is also an extremely passionate cyclist, having performed at the professional level in the past. When he first arrived at FQ 10, his back was in such bad shape he couldn't even get on the bike- just this past weekend he powered through a full 2 hour ride pain free! Keep up the great work Peter, and you'll be climbing "Le Alpe d'Huez" in no time!!

ATHLETE CORNER: "The Athletes Home Gym"

I am asked quite a bit, from parents and athletes from across the nation, "I'm going to buy some workout equipment for the house, what should I get?" Quite often my response is much simpler and less expensive than expected. How often does that happen?!!!!!

My criteria for at-home equipment are as follows:
1.) It must allow for progression
Equipment must be able to increase in resistance and difficulty as the user gets more proficient.

2.) Allow for many different uses
At-home equipment should be versatile since space and money is usually a concern. You don't want to have to spend the money and use the space for numerous pieces of equipment.
 
3.) Provide tested results!!!!!
Anything I recommend for home, I have used in my programs and have seen measured results. A lot of "gimmicky" home systems sound good in theory, but thousands of dollars later, they become glorified clothes hangers.
