Brett Klika - Director of Athletics |
Brett has a bachelor's degree in Fitness Program Management with a minor in psychology from Oregon State University. He is currently finishing his master's thesis in Biomechanics at San Diego State University. Brett is a former collegiate soccer and lacrosse player as well as competitor at the state level in track and cross country. For the year prior to the 2000 Sydney Olympics, Brett had an opportunity to work with the U.S. Olympians while interning as an assistant strength and speed coach at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista. He has also worked in the athletic program as an intern strength coach at Oregon State University. His experience, knowledge and passion for coaching have given him the opportunity to coach and direct sports camps in Massachusetts, Oregon, Washington, and California. Brett currently consults with many high school and college sports teams in designing programs to increase flexibility, speed, and functional strength, while decreasing likelihood of injury.
Brett has taught at the University level, as well as spoke at national conferences about the benefits of a healthy, pain-free lifestyle. Brett's functional model of human performance has aided thousands of athletes and individuals perform at their best while staying pain and injury free.
