Time for PROGRESS

We had a great team meeting this past weekend with our Fitness Quest 10 teammates at an off-site location. We do this about 1x per year where we give a “state-of-the-union”, I share vision, forecast the future, share from the heart and we CONNECT deeply. And I absolutely love it.  And I believe the team enjoys it also.

And every time we do this, I always feel so grateful. Grateful for our team. Grateful for the opportunity to do what I do for a living. Grateful for the opportunity to get better.

And that’s called PROGRESS.

And I love progress. It’s part of what’s called the “Growth Mindset.” Always looking to get better and make progress. If you are reading this, you probably understand exactly what I’m talking about. Because you most likely love PROGRESS also.

And that can be PROGRESS in many different areas of our life:

  • Progress with our personal health, fitness, nutrition, or conditioning.
  • Progress in business.
  • Progress in career.
  • Progress in relationships.
  • Progress with a big project you are working on.
  • Progress with a book you are writing. Or a blog. Or your website. Or social media presence. On a presentation that you need to create. On a proposal you are working on.
  • Progress with a certain skill you are trying to develop or master.
  • Progress with your spiritual walk.
  • Progress with… (fill in the blank).

Life is about progress.

Does that mean you are NOT going to have trials, tribulations, obstacles, and issues in your life? ABSolutely not. Quite the contrary.

YOU WILL face all of these. As a matter of fact, I can say you will face all of these… and then some. But it is in these, that you can often make your best and most profound PROGRESS also.

Let me ask you a question. And it pertains to PROGRESS. And it pertains to PROGRESS regardless if your life/business is going as you planned or if you are facing a few behemoth challenges:

WHAT IS IT THAT YOU CAN DO THIS WEEK TO MAKE PROGRESS ON THE ONE THING YOU MOST NEED TO MAKE PROGRESS ON?

Now GO DO IT.

Word of the week is PROGRESS. Dig your teeth into something that needs your attention this week and get after it.
